Maria Grazia Chiuri has updated the iconic Saddle bag in beige jute canvas embroidered with the 'L'Union Fait la Force' motto, inspired by the atelier's jute bags and reaffirming the participative dimension dear to Maria Grazia Chiuri. This legendary design features a Saddle flap with a magnetic 'D' stirrup clasp, as well as the ruthenium-finish metal 'CD' signature on either side of the handle. This style can be carried by hand or on the shoulder and can be personalized with different shoulder straps.

The inspiration can be seen in the graphic design with the now iconic asymmetrical flap that is reminiscent of a saddle shape. Its magnetic 'D' is influenced by stirrup clasps, while the signature 'CD' on each side makes the design distinctively Dior. The ultramatte calfskin style is embellished with tonal metal hardware. The Saddle bag may be carried by hand or worn over the shoulder and can be customized with different shoulder straps.

The iconic Saddle bag was made used for the first time in the Men’s collection. Aside from the shoulder bag, it appeared as a cross-body bags, clutch and belt bags. The saddle shape was also used as pockets for backpacks and jackets.
